Sophie Kazamias  is professor at Université Paris-Saclay, and Scientific officer of LASERIX.

She is specialist of Non-Linear Optics, pump-probe experiments, X Laser and high harmonics generation in gaz, particularly in macroscopic angle. Her doctoral thesis (Ecole Polytechnique 2003) is about phase matching.

Responsable of Master II GI/PLATO Grands Instruments/Plasmas Lasers Accélérateurs TOkamaks (GI), she teaches in the Physic department (Optics, Quantum physics, Statistical Physics, lasers).
